Marah

Text: Lyana Zakaria Marah. I admit that sometimes I couldn't help myself for not being angry. It is hard. But I'll try again. Sometimes I take it too serious till I make people around me annoyed. And sometimes it's vice versa. And it's kinda make me a little disappointed with myself. because Justin Timberlake once said that; "What goes around, comes around" You can say it as Karma. In order to make they be better is you, yourself MUST be Better. In

Text: Lyana Zakaria Today is the 11th day of Ramadan.  And today I managed to qiamulail .  Alhamdulillah. So today, supposedly the plan is to go to PKNS for shopping however, Hakeem have a class today so we cancelled the plan.  Our plan today is to make blueberry cheese tart.  Ibu just bought a new tart maker.  She's so excited to use it. So last but not least, " if you ever get angry with someone, our Prophet Muhammad SAW had left some tips. There are three steps. Firstly, change your positions. If you're standing, then sit down. If you're sitting, lay down. Secondly, perform your ablution(وضوء) . Thirdly, drink a cold water. Nabi Muhammad SAW said that anger comes from satan and satan are made from fire. It means the anger is from fire so to put it down we should use water, right? In shaa Allah it will help you decrease your anger.  Oh! One more thing, during anger our heartbeat increases. Heartbeat increases due to low concentration of oxygen in body so take a deep

عباده

Text: Lyana Zakaria رمضان kareem is about to end.  And I'm stuck in my daydream like ed sheeran said. الله اكبر Am i gonna let this slip away just like that? This is like one and only chances i had.  Who knows you'll die right after Ramadan? And you've missed the chances you have  during your lifetime to enjoy your عبادة to الله.  Bukankah itu merugikan kita? Tazkirah for today is.. From a hadith from رسول الله: There is one man who was very pious and he left a will to his family to burn his body and crushes his bones and divide into two. One throw it into البحر (sea) and another one onto land.  However, Allah's power is beyond us. He connected the land and the sea therefore, the two crushed bones meet together in between the land and the sea.  Allah ask the man why did he left a will to  his family to do such things. And, he answered " ana akhuf. (I'm afraid). Afraid to your النار (hell), Ya Allah. The  tortured that i'll be facing. I  don't do a lot o

Nostalgia

Text: Lyana Zakaria When it comes to Ramadan Kareem, things that appear in my mind is food. Why? because my mum will come out with something special, something that you couldn't find out there.  I've been raised by three super women in my life. Ibu, Wan and Mak. Their cooks are the best. Whenever I go and eat someone else's cook, I found that their cooks are still the best.  However, Wan and Mak have left me. They'd passed away. Wan passed away about 8 years ago while Mak about 4 months ago. Before I flied to Egypt last year, I met Mak and she kept repeating that maybe we didn't have a chance to meet again. And yes, it is true. She passed away when I'm still in Egypt.  Mak asked me to buy her a fridge magnet from Egypt as a souvenier. So last May, I went to Cairo after my final exam for shopping and I bought the fridge magnet that Mak asked for. Although I already knew she had passed away but somehow when I saw the fridge magnet suddenly I forgot that she had le

Text: Lyana Zakaria  I don't know what to write but I'm following my mum's advice. Make a post everyday. Yeah! My mum now a little advance compared to me because my mum is a blogger tutor for beginners. So she's giving all the tips to me for Freee. Hahaha. She is good. Becoming a tutor makes her becomes more active in social  network. Sometimes it annoyed me because she's too busy with her phone until one time you realized that you're talking alone like Forever Alone? Haha sorry ibu ;)  But anyway, it's one of the alternative for her to raise some money for us(me and my two little brothers). So I support her. I've tried to promote everything that she sells in the network but no respond. Maybe because I'm not a hot stuff in schools so people ignore my facebook status? Hrmm..  A little bit disappointed with myself because I couldn't help her. But at least, I've tried, right? Just keep going, Lyana. Go,go,go ! Bieber once said "Never say Ne
